- Commercial Workshop Featuring Casting Directors Brian Levy and Powerhouse Casting's Andrew Hayes!

- Commercial scripts will be sent out prior to the Symposium
– Learn the skills to master commercial technique
– We will examine where actors fail most frequently in commercial auditions.
– Casting Director Andrew Hayes of Powerhouse Casting joins Brian Levy and will work with participants AND choose our cast!!
- This workshop will be fast paced and not for the faint of heart!!
- Be prepared to ACT.
05:00pm Q&A PANEL #1 - AGENTS FORUM
- Special guest talent agents Jana Abrams, Lisa Burke, Christopher Oldfield and Doug Patterson headline a steller panel at the Agents Forum. An opportunity to find out what the agents side of the business involves. How they choose actors for their rosters, working with producers and directors, helping their clients choose photographs...and the right photographer, building an actor’s resume, the art of negotiation and much more. This forum will be open to the floor for questions from participants.

09:00am WORKSHOP #3 - CASTING SCREEN TEST
- This is where we will perform, for a blue-ribbon panel of casting directors and industry leaders, complex scenes and monologues, sent to you prior to the weekend.
- ALL participants will do a scene today and many will read opposite other actors as well.
- Find out what it takes to be cast in a role opposite a producers International Star. The importance of casting well and all of the considerations that must come into play throughout the casting process.
- This is an on-camera performance master-class and will demonstrate the difference in scale, both emotional and physical, between theatre and film.
