JANA ABRAMS TALENT AGENCY
JANA ABRAMS TALENT AGENCY
• Jana Abrams

The Jana Abrams Talent Agency (JATA) was founded by former actress and now Agent and Entrepreneur Jana Abrams. After studying at The Young People’s Theatre, Equity Showcase and York University, Jana Abrams graduated from the George Brown Theatre School in 1994 and has worked in the entertainment industry ever since. In 2003 after several years of assisting talent agents, Jana Abrams formed the Jana Abrams Talent Agency in conjunction with Creative Drive Artists Talent Agency. JATA was an immediate success and subsequently Jana Abrams was prompted to go solo in 2005. In 2007 JATA expanded once again to include a full service children’s division focusing on ages new born to 16 years old as seasoned children’s talent agent Lina Scuralli joins the growing team. Our commitment to success comes from our desire to provide the highest level of service to both our Actors and to the Casting Community.

• STEVEN MANN, CDC

SPECIAL GUEST - Steven Mann will be our Special Guest Adjudicator in the Commercial Workshop on Day 1
My main objective when prepping a job is to bring in the best performers, PERIOD. Sure, I follow the job specs and try my best to give the clients what they are looking for visually. However if I were to only select people that ‘look’ like the character reference or match the casting specs exactly, the job would never get done. The choices would be extremely limited. The difficult part of my job is to select 25 people from a list of 250 for any given role. Bottom line if you guys look good, I look good. Remember, I need you guys as much as you need me.
